Background: I go to a pretty good D2 school. Our football team made it to the 3rd round of regionals.
I am 6'1, 155 lbs and am a sophomore 5k runner. I am very athletic but have no football experience.
After my senior track season could I hit the weights over the summer and get good enough to make at least the punt return team of my college football team? Anyone one here have experience of walking onto a football team? Also, if you have any lifting advice let me know. How much weight do I need to gain? What are my chances of getting CTE?
I really want to make a difference for people around me, since I am sterile and cannot have children, I think this could be a way to "give back," because it would show people that anything is possible.
