I was wondering if anyone would have any insight to the school and the program?
I know it's in a christian school which is pretty strict but how strict?
Is there anything to do in Abilene?

Don't do it. Academically it is a clown school. You'll get all A's in everything without ever going to class or submitting any work.

Are in NCAA Div. III so zero scholarships. Don't push religion like ACU does, though is a Christian school. 3 colleges in Abilene (3rd is Hardon-Simmons. McM is in American Southwest Conference (ASC).

Campus is in quaint middle class suburb southeast of downtown. Most running near campus around those city streets. Abilene is dominated by religion. McM does have a track.
Best video I could find (visual quality poor).

Forgot about this thread until today and I am intrigued by this post.
I visited the campus and thought it was great. I thought that it seemed like a perfectly fine school to attend. Why do you consider a "clown school"? Do you have experience with this school?
Also does anyone here have any experience with the running aspect of the school? The coach seemed very eager to explain the nuances of the program, the history, and the future goals for the team (though this may be normal for a visit I am not good enough to know lol). Saw that they just won the ASC champs too.

McMurry is a fine place to go to school and earn a degree, if you like small colleges. The program has a new coach who is very good, and they have always supported T&F well. If you enjoyed your visit, give it a try.
