I’d add dogs on the first snow day of the year.

- Passing another runner on a banked track
- Cold water after a summer long run
- Calf stretches after hills
- Out-kicking someone at the line for a win
- Getting your run done in the morning so you can relax for the rest of the day
- Big post-run meal
- Coming off a successful training block and being in the best shape of your life
- Massages. Need I say more?
- Falling asleep in a soft bed after a hard workout
- Trophies/ medals for winning road races and meets
- Smashing last season's PRs
- Hard finishes at the end of the run against your teammates when you have a lot left
Nothing like the feeling of all that training paying off as you cross the finish line in a 3.1 mile marathon and get handed an AMAZING FINISHER MEDAL!
