I did a low-sugar thing this morning, and it absolutely destroyed my mileage. As long as I'm not getting it from processed sources, I'm fine.

What's the source? Soda? Kombucha? Skittles? Bananas? Pina Coladas?
If it's 50g from natural sources (fruits, veggies) then it's probably ok.
If it's 50g from junk (candy, soda, etc.) then I'd change your diet.
Context matters, not just the numbers.
From fruit and veggies, I am fully paleo but I have a family history of diabetes..
