Ok let’s say all the British and American people were forced to live together for 200 years. Which accent wins out over those 200 years?

American, obviously.
It's lazier. That's how it would go.
USA, much larger population.
The Mexican acccent.
American English
'murican.
All we have to do is look at linguistic history and the answer is pretty clear. British English (or something even more efficient) would win out.
West Coast US accent (not necessarily language) is likely the closest thing to what British English was a few hundred years ago. That's because the constant influx of new English speakers and those with different accents conformed to the standard.
Stable populations, on the other hand, are able to evolve their language. British English is objectively spoken more efficiently. It's moved that way because, over time, the stable group of speakers gradually figured it out and naturally changed.
British - the American girls would pick the guys with the accents and they'd reproduce at much higher rates. Their children would grow up speaking like their dads.
We don't even all have the same accent here, so why would theirs change?
I saw something on the history channel that claimed that what we know as a British Accent didn't evolve in England until the 19th century.
In the 18th century both the Americans and British spoke in an accent that more closely resembles the American accent.
To answer your question, there are more Americans than British so the American accent would eventually win out. If you didn't involve all the Americans in your language experiment only as much as you need to get an equal amount of people from both sides, the British accent would win, it sounds fancier and people like to feel fancy.
It would evolve into a blend of the two.

But then the American girls would divorce them, and the male British population would be forced into poverty and become irrelevant.
