Anyone got NXN 2019 predictions for teams and/or individuals for boys and/or girls?
Anyone got NXN 2019 predictions for teams and/or individuals for boys and/or girls?
Watch out for Oklahoma not to qualify any males for the 5th straight year, and for us to not send any females either because our best female runners compete at Club Nats for some stupid and unexplained reason.
Edina and Wayzata boys and girls. Emily Covert and the Ping sisters.
You just revealed how truly smart you are, and how much you follow those MN Girls. Covert is a senior THIS year. She won't be back next year (unless Colorado runs NXN!) But I am sure there must be someone from MN who is coming for someone.

Umm ... Covert will be running with the Buffalos.
Wolfgram comes back big and bad.
I'll go out on a limb and predict Katelyn Tuohy will be one of the top girls.
Im gonna make the most dumb prediction ever, shes going to win.
CO has a better year than this year...
Tuohy
Sprout
Repeat victory for Summit girls, but don’t count out FM. Boys not sure, how many of LV top 7 next year currently attend? If they get 3 more transfers to cover Hunter and Affolder then they’ll win again.
Didn't you see the news!!!
7 of the top runners in the country all intend to transfer to L.V and form and NBA like super team. They think that if they get on the same team, they may be able to get a perfect 15 at NXR and NXN. They want to make history not just be another guy on an average team that might win. They bought a house and all 5 families are going to live together and all of the parents got jobs at the locally Piggly Wiggly to pay the bills. The government also offered to put all their immediate families into witness protection so they wouldn't be bothered by the press and people on the let's run forum.
Transfers? TRANSFERS? That silly word keeps popping up on the high school running message board.
OK, if this makes the nattering nabobs of negativism happy (happiness being a relative term):
100% of Loudoun Valley's top seven next year will be transfers, and all will be seniors. (The transfer "thing" has been mandated by Nike.) Four from Colorado, three from Texas. Stats from the 2018 season follow, including each boy's position in the final national high school 5k rankings, and his best time. My, won't they look so good - and run so fast - in those Loudoun Valley/Jungle TC/Purcellville singlets!
1 14:32.90 COLE SPROUT CO Valor Christian High School
3 14:41.35 EASTON ALLRED CO Mountain Vista High School
4 14:43.60 CRUZ CULPEPPER CO Niwot High School
5 14:43.88 RYAN SCHOPPE TX La Porte
11 14:50.10 MICHAEL ABEYTA TX El Paso Hanks
12 14:50.25 RYAN CARDINAL TX The Woodlands
18 14:51.72 CONNOR OHLSON CO Dakota Ridge High School
If it makes life more pleasant for the same transfer-goofy sticks-in-the-mud (no, not those seven runners):
There will also be coaching transfers for 2019's XC season. Marc and Joan Hunter will be recruited to lead Great Oak. In the same instant in time, Doug Soles will transfer from Great Oak to Loudoun Valley (on excellent terms with the Great Oak school athletic/admin honchos), where he will easily win a boys' national championship before helping each kid win a full-ride athletic scholarship.
NEW RULE INSTALLED BECAUSE THE WORD "TRANSFER" APPEARED ONE TOO MANY TIMES ON LETSRUN: Only Purcellville (Loudoun Valley) is allowed to win the boys' NXN team championship year after year after year. Which means that each year its varsity runners will be 100% newly-transferred elite senior running studs, and its coach or coaches will have just arrived from another storied high school running program. [Some kids will be military brats who have a parent working either at the Pentagon, a mere 45 miles or so from Purcellville, or else at a naval base...in Florida. Oh, the sacrifices a parent makes for his/her son to succeed!!]
Transfer-fixated crybabies: This fantasy trip is OVER! You can each now freely b*tch again to your heart's content about any subject on the face of the earth. Tawk amongst yerselves...here's a topic with which to begin: "NXN is the equal of Foot Locker, as a championship."
Transfer this you buttnugget. CBA will be there and dominate next year.

The real question is if these 2 boys teams will even make it to state out of 6AA next year.
On the boys side, Edina and Eden Prairie (especially with healthy Derouin) are looking to be the favorites to make it out of that section.
EP is losing some seniors, but are returning at least 5 runners who spent at least some time scoring in their top 5, and they seem to prove people wrong every year.
Edina will lose 4 of their top 7, but they are returning 3 from the state meet lineup, and also two 16:34 guys that ended their season early due to injury.
Minnetonka should also be a contender to make it out of that section. They return almost everyone from this year’s top 7 and will probably be more motivated than ever to make it back to state for the first time since the 90s, especially after being oh-so-close to making it to state a year ago.
Wayzata is graduating their entire top 7, but they know how to reload so they should never be counted out to make it to state.

You are ONE FUNNY PERSON! So nice of you, always, to be so crude. I bet you know a few other mean-spirited zingers among the 217 words you have learned thus far into your Wonder Years.
Tell me again how those B's of C from their A did at NXN? How would you rate their performance? One of your favorite letters - A, B, or C? Or, as can be argued, w-o-r-s-e?
Texas has a better year next year all-around. Very competitive. On all fronts, Individual & Team.
Boys: The Woodland boys top 8 at NXN next year.
Southlake Carroll, Flower Mound, and Eastwood are other top teams. Top 15 for next best team.
Girls: Flower Mound, Prosper, Southlake Carroll are the top dogs.
Probably 10-15 for top 2 teams, not too far from each other.

Beaver River returns all of their top 5, and finished only one place and 22 points behind Shen at NXR. Shen is graduating all of their top 3.
