"we have to pass Obamacare to see what's in it!"
Actually feel a bit sorry for May.
Don't get me wrong, she's a total cringeworthy Alan Partridge come to life, however she is at least showing some morals in attempting to get something (love it or hate it) that the majority of the public actually voted FOR across the line.
At least she didn't dangle the carrot then run away with her tail between her legs when she didn't get her way unlike her pig's head funking predecessor. Nor those inbred, soggy biscuit clowns who backed off like little children when realising they no way of getting a place at the table for the man's game...
She's on a total hiding to nothing from all sides but at least she's actually got the balls to stand tall and try to salvage something from the mess.
Good job with third grade spelling.
So if they revote and don't really do Brexit, is that a nail in the coffin of Trumpism? Flagpole - thoughts?

Do you realize that a growing number of country's in the EU are moving closer and closer to an exit from the EU? If you think a failure of Brexit is a "nail in the coffin of Trumpism", you're severely misguided.
The fact that you mention Trump in a thread that has not mentioned, or is even a subject of, is an indication of your misguided views.
She basically tried to say, vote for this and I'll negotiate a deal. But she's had years and produced nothing.
In the end, the EU was very good for the UK and no one really wants all that comes with leaving the common market, even if more home rule would be a good thing.
Her political skill is equaled only by her dance moves:
Today's "no confidence" vote triggered by her own party seems to be theater and a set up. She only needs half of her own party, plus one, to prevail, not half of Parliament.
Headlines will say "MAY WINS!" instead of the "MAY LOSES!" that she would have gotten from the Brexit deal vote.

She has lied repeatedly. She has entered into a coalition with the DUP (sectarian morans). She did not make the problem, but she could try to solve it. Just admit that the referendum was called to solve internal party divisions and say there is no mandate for a workable Brexit that satisfies a majority of people.
Don't really disagree with any of that other than "the referendum was called to *postpone internal party divisions", the same divisions the Tory's have had my entire life!
The biggest mistake was allowing the referendum to pass on 50% rather than an acceptable majority. There was no real clear mandate from the public, and that is reflected in the Tory party itself.

The fact that you don't see the similarities between Brexit, Trumpism, and all other nationalist "let's return to our (white) past" movements is an indication of your misguided views. If you don't believe me, check out any of Pat Buchanan's columns cheering on racism, err, nationalism.

Do you realize that the plural of country is countries?

Pat was a Nixon apologizer and doesn’t really think he should have resigned much less faced impeachment. He’s basically everything wrong with the old school GOP.

Pat is correct re: Nixon and nationalism.

I feel the same way. The situation she is in is:
A majority of Parliamentarians do not want the negotiated deal.
A majority of Parliamentarians do not want a hard Brexit.
A majority of Parliamentarians do not want to cancel Brexit.
A majority of Parliamentarians do not want another referendum.
A majority of Parliamentarians do not want an election on the issue.
