A senior, has the national lead D1 in the 55h, .35 off the national lead in the 60h. Only the protests of women will put a stop to this kind of blatant unfairness. A year of hormone therapy and reassignment surgery do not create a level playing field when there have been about 21 years of testosterone creating greater muscle mass, height, skeletal density, etc.
Disgraceful.
The consummate attention getters. Just some 20 something year old drama queen. Period. Not a hero of society. Not a pioneer. Raised on garbage reality show extreme behavior.
Wow. She might be faster than he was last year. Already PRed in the 55/60 hurdles and off by just .01 in the 55 dash.
Shorter hurdles

It was inevitable. Now lets see how the NCAA handles it...
How will they handle it? They will promote it. This is a logical step for a student athlete to take, under the D2 "Make it Yours" Campaign:

How else could Telfer make it his? By becoming a her. It's faster and easier, and done in the name of diversity. What's great, is that upon graduation, Telfer could get a job at any university as a Diversity and Inclusion Officer for any women's athletics department and get a 6 figure salary with pension and benefits.
What about USATF and iaaf rules?

Lol. Nobody is trying to reproduce with her!
Competing in college athletics is not a “right” Other women are trying to accomplish their dreams, and someone who used their male- testosterone-filled body to get better at athletics for 21 years suddenly switching genders is encroaching on their dreams. It’s pathetic that Franklin Pierce is exploiting them by running so many events to drive up their national ranking.

She should try to follow Caitlyn Jenner's footsteps and show that women are as good as men by competing in the open category (like Caitlyn did).

Franklin Pierce is smart. The athlete followed the rules and waited a year. The athlete is a pentathlete/heptathlete, that means you have to do a lot of events you moron.
It's the coach's job to support the athlete as much as possible, not hold the athlete back so that they don't annoy too many outsiders.
They were never a multie event athlete until they tucked it back. They’re just exploiting the the system. They were just a crappy male girder that couldn’t even make your average conference final. But hey let’s do the multi now!!!

Women are showing their gutlessness in this, but they are not gutless in their dealings with conservative white males.
As bad as NCAA may be, they are way more stringent than CT high school athletics.
