How common is it to travel across state lines?
Being from California - in a city close to the coast - it's pretty rare for me to travel to another state, even for leisure.
How often do you all visit another state? Is it unheard of for people to work in a state that they do not live in? Are there any differences between those states that would likely prohibit travel, or is it actually encouraged to cross these lines?
Certainly, you have to memorize different laws for different states. Would the cops be more likely to pull your car over because your car is registered out of state?
As a total CA native who has never explored the east coast, but would like to, I'd sure like to compare the differences.
