Where is Canova when you need him?
He would appear soon to tell us that
1) he is a b-level kenyan
2) a-level Kenyans don't have to be doping because all parameters which can be improved are already maxed out by proper training, so doping won't have any effect
3) his best performances are from 2016, so quite sure he just started doping recently because he could not reach his old PRs again...
You're spot-on; you must have researched the many damage control posts on Kenyan doping busts by Canova.
He has mentioned "b-level" Kenyans...what the heck is a "b-level" Kenyan? Something between a Kenyan sub-elite & top performing Kenyan, maybe? ?. And most "b-level" Kenyans are faster than many "A-level" Americans & Europeans. Lol.
And "b-level" Wangari has a 59:07 HM - about 40th fastest ever:
http://www.alltime-athletics.com/mhmaraok.htm
BTW...He is tied for 28th all time. Not around 40th. Meaning in a typical year, he'd be in the top 10, so yes A-level Kenyan.

You're right, I just saw 59:07 @ 40th fastest time and didn't sift through the duplicate faster times set by the same runners. So, he's the 28th fastest man at that distance - that sure as heck ain't no "b-level" runner.

Yes.

Thank you! You’re now officially on my list of favorite letsrun posters. ?

Seriously... I wonder how long Renato and rekrunner will keep defending Rosa.
Renato claimed to me that he and Rosa had a falling out 20-30 years ago and don't like each other. Yet he still defends him in spite of the obvious.

I think rekrunner is starting to get overwhelmed with all these Kenyan doping positives. The more he says there isn't a doping problem in Kenyan the more positives keep occurring. Lol.
So are you equating Rekrunner with Germany circa early 1945? Waterloo perhaps?

Basically it is the equivalent of 1:42high, 3:30, 12:55, 27:00 so yes hardly elite.

I bett el k didn't see this coming.
Considering that he has not one but two wangs in his name the extra test is probably just genetic.
I wonder why you wonder. Like you, I expect some of the believers to be caught. And I expect each example is like a bell, causing all the same posters to salivate.

Defending Rosa? Curious conclusion. Is there a fast forward button to get us past the stage of uninformed allegations?

Rekrunner will soon show up to pretend that testo doesn't help distance runners, so nothing to see here.
Must have been a contaminated dehydrated burger combined with altitude training and faulty lab Equipment that caused this unfortunate false positive which should never have been released to the press as transparency is terrible for track and field.
I'm pretty sure I never said "there isn't a doping problem in Kenya". For the sake of clarity, I believe Kenya has a doping problem. They are not alone. Track and field has a doping problem. What interests me more than doping busts, or detecting doping, is any causal link to elite performance.

The IAAF must issue an apology to all those on the Fancy Bears list, immediately.

Oh, just like the rest of us he knew another bust was coming, he just doesn't want to admit that Kenya has a doping problem.
