could anyone give me ideas how to improve my time in distances from 100m to 800m to ?
i am not aiming to become professional but i like training
currently my times are:
100m 14 - 15s
200m 30 - 31s
400m 67 - 70s
800m 2:30 - 2:35s
my current training
monday: alternate every second monday 5 * 200m (30 - 35s) or 5 * 100m (14 - 16s)
tuesday: pullups, pushups, weights, jumps
wednesday: i do one of these workouts
workout 1: 200m (33s), 400m (74 - 76s), 1000m (3:29 - 3:36)
workout 2: 2 x 200m (33s), 2 x 400m (74 - 76s), 200m (36s)
workout 3: 200m (33s), 400m (74 - 76s), 600m (2:00), 200 (35s)
thursday: pullups, pushups, weights, jumps
friday: rest
saturday: saturday alternate every second 3km (11-11:30) or 800m (20:30 - 2:35) + rest + 6.5km tesmpo run (pace 4:30 per km)
sunday: rest
every 4th week i skip tuesday, wednesday and thursday workouts
between sprints or longer repeats i do 4-6min rests
many would probably suggest adding more long runs, long repeats (1 km) or third weight workout
i already tried that but it did not worked out for me. I was slower at all distances
