If I am just doing a long run, tempo, or recovery run I just head out the door and walk for about 1/4 mile and then
run. (On cold days I also warm up indoors first.)
It seems like a lot of people have to actually get into their cars and drive 10 minutes or more to run.
I did live in the country for a few years and had to do it that way. I hated it.
How do you cope with having to drive before running?
