Looking back on all of the past team champions on the men's side at NXN: if you had all the winning teams in the same race, which team would win? Would it be LV of this year, inaugural champ, Kroy, or some other team in between? Are there speed ratings from all the races that could show this kind of data?
Comparing the speed ratings will not say who would win if the teams raced head to head. The speed ratings are relative to the other racers in the field, and as fields have become more competitive the speed ratings for equivalent times have decreased. Comparing speed ratings in a head to head format would only show which team was more dominant in their respective era.
If they all had the same performance as they did at their respective National meets, I think this year's LV team would win. If this was not the case, It think 2014 FM would win 50% of times, LV this year 20%, 2013 Gig Harbor 20%, and an upset 10%. FM far underperformed at Nationals in 2014 and still won handily, and then Gig's 1-2-3-(4) punch would give enough low sticks over most teams 1-5 scorers to make up for how many points they suffer from their 5th man. LV has very good depth, but their mid pack scorers would place far behind FM and Gig's mid pack.
At least that's what I think. I don't remember the older teams than 2010ish, so I could be forgetting some.
