I am aware there are some huge threads about post tib tendonitis, and people who have torn the tendon but mine seems to be a bit different.
I've never had any pain on the tendon, just at the attachment site of the tendon on the navicular. MRI confirmed that there is in fact a micro tear. This really surprised me as I never had an redness, swelling, or tenderness on the tendon or attachment site.
Orthopedist believes 6-8 weeks in a motion restricting brace + PT exercises (eccentrics, hip and glute stuff) will fix it.
I'm also getting Graston and laser therapy done weekly. after not running for 4 days it feels better already, though not enough to run on.
I'm only 18 and have already signed to a university next year and really want this to be a very fixable issue so I can enjoy training the next 4-5 years.
