Improbable to say he has a zero percent chance. If it is a slow race(low 28 minute race) and hot and humid, he'll thrive in the heat and humidity in Tokyo 2020. Did you even watch him this year at the US 10000m championship race?

What are you talking about? He got 5th place, 12 seconds behind Bernard Lagat who won it.

So - he got 5th place against 'meh' competition - and you're asking if he'll get top 3 against the world's best? HIGHLY unlikely.
That said, he's one of my favorite US runners. I was happy to see him 'revitalize' his career last year.
