Before showing you my irrelevant brilliance, I will let you all play along in this little game we call The Runners Oracle: Footlocker Nationals Season 40
To have a chance at winning absolutely nothing, you have to get as many places as close as possible, with a perfect score being 0. 0 meaning you got all 40 places correct. A score of 2 would mean you got 38 places correct and the other 2 spots you only missed by 1 spot each. An additional score of 0:00 would mean you got everyone's time right to the exact second. A score of 1:00 would mean that combined you had the times predicted right with a total difference of 1:00, for instance if you got 39 times predicted exactly and 1 person ran 1:00 faster or slower than you anticipated then your time score would be 1:00.
Good luck. I'm going to win, but 2nd place is still a noble accomplishment.
