If I would do a training consisting of the following:
15 minutes of easy paced running
6 minutes at 5k pace
15 minutes of easy paced running
6 minutes at 5k pace
15 minutes of easy paced running
6 minutes at 5k pace
So a total of 63 minutes.
Because the easy running is broken up into three parts, do they give me the same benefit as when I would run at an easy pace for 45 minutes straight?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
