Is there a link for the elite entry lists?
Interested to see how Britain's Steph Twell will go, making her marathon debut with a view to Tokyo 2020.
I wish Bekele was in it. I can't wait to see his next race.
I will pick Yimer in his debut, I believe in beginners luck.

Definitely a very deep field on the men's side for a marathon that doesn't get all that much attention. Although some of the fastest entrants on that list are well past their prime (Kebede, for one). 13 sub-2:10 guys, with 3 sub-2:05 and 6 sub-2:07.
I'm not seeing Jemal Yimer on that list though (he only made his half debut back in Feb, so it would seem very soon to be making his marathon debut as well).
Nice field !
So no Jemal Yimer after all ? Maybe he wasn't well recovered from the Valencia HM where he finished second to Kiptum and/or hadn't put in the miles for Marathon training ?
A link for the stream on the official website : www.valenciaciudaddelrunning.com/maraton-noticias/como-seguir-directo-maraton-valencia-2018/
How many hours til the start?
He was planning on running until he found out the race wasn’t 41km.
It starts at 8:30 CET so that's 2:30 EST
So in five min?
Race already underway!
Don't say 41 year old Lydia Cheromei is leading the race!
Looked like a five km marker they passed in 14.37
They passed in 14:48.
29:47 at 10k, Does anyone have a Leaderboard? thank you in advance
Interesting to see Cheromei who began her international career in 1989 still running at the very top more than 29 years later! How does she do this? She was of the era of Gebrsilassie, Tergat, Terartu Tulu, Elana Meyer of South Africa!

Probably just loves to run, intrinsically motivated, the Accolades and Awards are just icing on the cake.

Could be the case with her. She has retired more than once but came back and baffled everyone and now at age 41 she is making others like Edna Kiplagat and Keitany to feel they got along way before they can call it quits. She was only 12 or 13 when she burst into the international scene. I wonder if anyone argues she cheated on her age!
