The legend of Katelyn Tuohy continues to grow. I'm most impressed by how she was able to handle all the mental pressure and stress and still produce a record breaking performance. A true champion has to be mentally strong; running is the easy part. The introductions took way too long. I was appalled at how Katelyn and the other runners had to stand for so long in the rain waiting to be introduced. Maybe a tent structure needs to be in place to keep them somewhat dry and warm while being introduced. Are the introductions necessary? How can a warm-up be effective if athletes have to stand for 30 minutes waiting in the rain waiting to be introduced.
Proud of Katelyn and wish her well in the future.
The most exciting runner in the world.
