Didn't pay off the right people (twice for doping controllers, likely too expensive with AIU judges).

If you look anywhere else on the web reporting this story, such as Athletics Weekly on Facebook (to give just one example) and read the comments below, you'll realize what a freak show this forum is becoming on Kenyan doping.
LRC let it run with the Troll Headline "Kenyan EPO doper", guaranteed to cissure the population.
This +100%. I saw exactly what they did there which is why I’m deliberately not partaking in this racist trollfest of a thread. I’d heard new stuff about this kid and his case that might have provided a new ‘A-Ha!’ moment but I’ll let them dig it up for themselves ... if it ever comes to light.
Boy, I hate that there’s no viable alternative to this site.

My friends, this is mistake. EPO only works on white runners, not elite africans TRAINING AND LIVING AT HIGH ELEVATION. For them, there is NO benefit.
Renato. Start training yourself. Take epo. Then report back. Maybe cycle with some test while you.re at it. Sheesh. Stick to what you know.

What part of 'Kenyan EPO doper' is inaccurate?
El K, what would you be hoping for in another site? Something that never mentions how sauced up a lot of the top runners are?
Boy, I hate that there’s no viable alternative to this site.
What you actually hate is that there's no alternate reality in which your professed country of origin isn't full of dopers, unscrupulous agents, and dirty coaches. Wake up and smell what you shoveling!

Doxxing. You are real brave.

I still don't get this? Isn't skipping a test in late February and testing positive from a test on July 31 TWO separate things?
It seems to be (#99) that because they failed to "serve" him for the first act until mid-August, it only counts once?
Yes, AIU is almost as corrupt as Kenya itself, "conveniently" ensuring Bett is only out 4 years, when he should be out 8 years if they were acting in a dutiful manner and serving his assessment of the first ADRV violation.

Western athletes are not testing positive? Rather than your lips, how about reading WADA ADRV reports? Athletes from western countries are being busted in bigger numbers --it's only African busts which seem to make posters salivate like Pavlov's dog, while denying they are racist. Here's a scoop for 2016 from a recent WADA ADRV report: The countries with the most busted athletes are: Russia (30), India (21), Morocco (14), and USA (11), followed by France (9), Saudi Arabia (9), Romania (9), Italy (8). Kenya has 7, and Ethiopia has 5, Spain has 6, Netherlands has 1, and UK has 0. We should be appalled as we would for any doping bust, like any one of the 21 in India or 9 in Romania or 9 in Saudi Arabia. Some people think this youngster is 30 years old. Even at 20, this up and coming youngster is an adult.

And you should be appalled with this Bett kid testing positive for the sauce! An up & coming youngster who took the bronze at the prestigious WC last year! Winning a medal at the WC level is big time and prime time - Bett ain't no lower-tier trackster! Just can't believe it - such a promising youngster in the Kenyan system banned for using the sauce! Unbelievable! Get him out of the sport! What a disgrace!

Good to see that "the system works" (for all involved).

I don't normally agree with doxxing but when it comes to hardcore Kenyan doping apologists who are also competitive Kenyan runners, then maybe it's justified. If that is El K, I'd love to see his blood samples, and I'm sure the race organizers would as well.
This is true. All of this is just an unfortunate combination of a quiet doorbell and a poorly calibrated machine. In conclusion, there is no case to answer.

Cheesy post rekrunner. How about you quit freaking trolling for once and realize it's the heavy hitters from Kenya being busted for the sauce; major medal winners, prestigious marathon/HM title winners, even a former WR record holder: Kiprop, Jebet, Sumgong, Bett, Jepchumba, Kipsang Yego, Bett, Kalalei, Jeptoo, etc. These are big time and prime time athletes - something you should have an appreciation for since you admire athletes "at the top." Well..here's some for you at top of their game and top of doping. ?
Where's the American major medal winners, top title winners, NR record holders for distance running get bagged for dope? Can you name just one busted for doping? Just one? Huh? Americans are testing positive in other sports but not distance running.
And African busts are appalling because they're supposedly the World's best distance runner. Ask any average Joe on street about all these Kenyan busts and they'll reply: "The Kenyans? The World's best distance runners? Are you sure...why would they need to dope?"
All I ever here from Kenyan running pundits is how great they are iving & training at altitude, natural born runners, exceptional genetics, tough as nails, train harder than anyone else and all that crap - yet their big name and prime time runners are getting busted for rocket fuel left & right. Again, look at those names! Ridiculous!
So, wake up and smell the coffee or tea (or whatever you drink over there in Monaco) and realize the magnitude of the African runners getting busted:
