I'm 10 weeks away from goal marathon and having a fantastic training cycle. Ive had a "stiff" big toe on the R foot here and there but honestly it's never caused me any pain at all when running. I got home from a big tempo interval workout today and my toe is hurting like a MF'er. Anybody have anything like this before? Any ideas what it could be?
Well, I would suggest going to see a doctor. As a wild ass guess it might be Hallux Limitus/Rigidus.
In my experience shoes like Hokas tend to be helpful with this condition.
