I’ve had the Nike Zoom Streak LT3 and I’ve liked it, but I want to try the Streak 6. How is the grip compared to the Streak lt3/4. Is there still the snappy spike feel on the Streak 6 or not.

LT3/4 is more trippy.
I prefer the LT, the upper on the streak 6 is garbage.
What distance you running?

Meant grippy dang auto correct.
I have the Lt3 and streak 6. They're completely different shoes. I bought size 10.5 in both. The streak fit perfectly, I could probably wear 11.5 in the Lt3. I wear the streak for tempo and long interval work and the Lt3 for 10k races and under. I foot strike midfoot in the streak and forfoot in the Lt3. Grip is certainly better in the Lt3. As for the longevity of the uppers, the streak give me hot spots, but shouldn't fail. The Lt3 are too small and will fail somewhere after 100mi. I got the on super sale though, so not too bummed if they don't last.
i wear the streak lt4s as everyday trainers, i had a pair that lasted well over 500 miles. However, the more speed work you do the quicker they will wear down. I literally detached the upper from the soul after about 650 miles
Over 40 but haven't mastered the mile. wrote:

I've put hundreds of miles on my LT3s. Just ran a marathon in them. Probably depends on the runner.

I don't doubt that people are getting hundreds of miles out of their Lts. I would too if I hadn't ordered them too small. I still have a pair of Lt2 that I occasionally wear from 2008.

I'd say, if you plan on doing shorter reps/races, stick to the LT. But once you start racing 10k's and longer, go to the streak 6. I personally have both, and I use the LT3 for 400 and faster reps and for like road 5k's/10k's. And I use the streak 6 for mile repeats, long fartleks, and for any distance longer than a 10k.

Weird cuz Lagat just had custom Streak 6 uppers paired to LT4 lowers..
The 6 is a nice daily or long race shoe if you can’t use it all the time. The LT is about as close to a spike as Nike make for flats in the US market. Both uppers and outsoles are fine.
As a big fan of the discontinued lt3s, can anyone tell me how the new lt4s match up? I'm concerned that the new ones may not feel as good as the old ones, but am hoping its the same, if not better.
I don't think the Streak 6 gives much -if any - more cushion than the LT3/4. Certainly not enough to warrant an extra ounce and a half on each foot.

The LTs are probably more fun but mine always wear out too quickly. I love the Streak 6.
