Just got back into running after a year off. When i stepped away from the sport, I pulled a Bill Rodgers are started smoking but quickly switched to juuling. Problem is now I am having difficulty stopping without getting some withdrawal symptoms. It doesnt seem to be hurting my performance, in fact im getting fitter. Smoking hurt my fitness almost immediately, vaping does not. IN fact the nicotine seems to keep me better focused and energized, like my coffee I drink all day daily.
I am currently running anywhere from 70-90 miles a week. Feeling good despite the nicotine. Lungs feel strong. Just don't want a sudden heart attack from the nic or anything, not sure how dangerous nic from vape it.
I only hit it maybe 3-4 times when I wake up and 2-3 during the day. Im not vaping all day long or anything. Couldnt be worse than doing a 10 mile run with car exhaust all around you?
