I usually take 4-7 days completely off after every cross season and every track season.
I cut my cross season a bit short this year as I was injured earlier in the year and I'm still in bad shape.
Anyways, Every SINGLE break that I take, i get some kind of gross head cold, fever, or terrible sore throat. this time my throat wants to kill me iy hurts so bad. this has happened since beginning running 6 years ago every single season. Without fail, Every season.
Anybody else experience this?
Is it because my body is so used to a certain schedule and it gets thrown off my junk food and lack of exercise for a week?
