I am just coming off a horrible cross country season where I overtrained. I was unable to come within 20 seconds of my 5k Pr and my legs felt real fatigued and just don’t feel same. It feels hard to run paces in workouts and races that felt much easier a while ago. I think it started when I ran more miles than I could handle over the summer.
My question is: How much time should I take off? And how can I get back to where I was at last year?
