The benefit of the bulge

They are for warming-up, not running. During rain and wind, they are useless, and they restrict movement because they are not that stretchable. You can get injured trying to run in joggers, and they hold sweat, which generates weight.
Noting beats tights, long or short.
This is the correct answer.

Tapered pants are so ugly, it is what swedish old people wore (in yellow and blue colors like their flag or Ikea) when I grew up.

"they restrict movement because they are not that stretchable. You can get injured trying to run in joggers" are we talking about running pants or jeans?
I love these:
http://www.sporthill.com/mens-temptech-pant/I prefer not to roll into work with my junk and butt out for all my coworkers to see unless the conditions absolutely require tights (rainy/snowy). I think its ridiculous frankly. For jogging 6-7 minute miles, tappered pants or sweats do just fine. For anything

Hey bud, 7 minute miling is threshold pace, and 6 minute miles are goal 5K pace. Smarten up, let's go!
exactly!!
Switched from tights to Sport Hill running pants (which are now ungodly expensive) in college over twenty years ago and have never bought another pair of tights!
And now there are so many companies making running pants there is no need. My favorite pair running pants is $14.00 made by Champion.

Dude, do you know how to dress for a workout? You don't watch the pros?
It's like this:
You wear your tights and technical shirt underneath your jogger and half zip!
You do your drills and warm up. Now, once you have completed that, you take off your joggers and half zip( or wind breaker), and you go run or do your workout in your tights and technical shirt.
Once you are done, you put on your joggers and half zip.
Have you not noticed after every race, when runners hit the podium, they have on joggers and half zip?
Race gear and warm up gear, learn it! So you should be showing up to work in your warm -ups, not race gear.
American is focked.
Always over-sexualizing things, and thinking about something sexual, just mentally immature and programmed. There are people on other countries who barely wear anything, but no one is thinking about pubic areas or sexualizing the situation.
Running gear serves a purpose, wear it, and move on.
I remember getting called gay in middle school for wearing tights without shorts over them, also wearing short shorts. Now in high school if you wear shorts over your tights or wear shorts that are over 3 inches you're gay.
some people don't wear anything and their life changes to the worse, eventually
because I am confident in my peener

Why are you running when it's 30 C below 0. That is pretty cold. Do you not have a treadmill or a gym you can go to? Wait, you said tapered tights.....you probably don't even run.
I wear tapered tights.

Dont be a clown in mens leotards. Struggling to run your 20 minute 5k in tights because you think you are moving fast .
Wear pants ,and 90% of women should wear lose fitting pants . Nothing worse than having to view cankles on your morning run.
Ha!
races:
warm weather: singlet, 1/2 split shorts
cold weather: half tights, LS compression shirt, singlet on top.....I never ever race in full tights. If I need full tights for a race, then it is too, too cold for me to race. I don't race in weather below 30 degrees F. Not worth it. I'll train it, but not race in it.
Training:
Half tights or full tights, and a technical shirt. I never wear half split shorts during training or a workout. I save those for races.
I always go to a race or for training in warm up pants and half zip or windbreaker, and I wear my race gear or training gear under that.
But running in running pants or joggers?? GTFOH!
I wear tights during the cold months. I just prefer it and they are comfortable.
Some of my tights have pockets for stuff, which makes it convenient when I need to go shopping before or after my run...
Joggers and tights are no different in book.
