Was at a work event the other night and a guy comes out and said he's against vaccinations because they cause autism. How do you respond to someone when this happens?

Face slap . tell em the cause that too
"I had autism for a couple of weeks in college. Wasn't a big deal."
It is really the heavy metal toxicity from the vaccines...some can handle it but
those with weaker constitutions can't. Babylon's explanation is essentially "we don't know what causes autism but it's definitely not vaccines." People are waking up and not acting like sheep just getting vaccinated.
I have no problem with these people, they just need to be held accountable i.e. liable to lawsuits if they harm another child by them not vaccinating their child.

Could you please list which vaccines contain heavy metals? I'll check back later.
Thanks
just tell him that if he wants his kid to live to 4 he should vaccinate
"Are you familiar with the term 'Herd Immunity?' No? Let me explain..."

The metal in vaccines is very minute. If they are really concerned about metal they would be against the consumption of cheese and tuna.
https://nutritionfacts.org/video/aluminum-in-vaccines-vs-food/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6e9zPZhoD7kThimerosal is mercury based, found in flu vaccine...there could be more but it wasn't hard to look this up.
the notion that an unlimited amount of vaccines is completely safe for everyone is very extreme. Maybe there is a legitimate cost-benefit to vaccines that hasn't been looked at for a number of reasons. Parents ought to be allowed to make their own decisions and they need to be informed (preferably from both sides of the argument).....both sides of the argument seem to just try to shut the other side down and there is never any fruitful debate on this......
I don't see why it is outrageous to think that not all bodies will react the same to a vaccine...we all have different genetics and maybe there is a chance some children may respond adversely....
Throw a rabid raccoon in his car.
Does he think man is causing global warming?
When responding to an antivaxxer, keep in mind that they might be BSing you about being one. In that case, play along. If they are not, then respond as you would to any other insane person (hint: trying to convince them is generally a waste of breath).
"In conclusion, vaccinated homeschool children were found to have a higher rate of allergies and NDD than unvaccinated homeschool children."
https://www.hrsa.gov/vaccine-compensation/index.html"In very rare cases, a vaccine can cause a serious problem, such as a severe allergic reaction. In these instances, the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) may provide financial compensation to individuals who file a petition and are found to have been injured by a VICP-covered vaccine." Over $3 billion has been paid.

I’m partial to the thousand-yard stare in these situations.

They also have a higher risk of polio
Polio or allergies is a really tough decision

There are lots of reasons to not inject unknown toxic substances in your body, and that is just one of them.
Good for you. I feel the same way.

That's like saying that exercising daily, might harm people who jump off cliffs.
