I purchased a pair of Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit with the carbon fiber plate as a shoe I would use for long runs and workouts to simulate the feel of vaporfly on race day from a shoe build point of view.
I wore them for a 8 mile tempo run last night and had the worst pain on my forefoot, almost like a huge blister was developing. Towards the end it was almost unbearable. After taking the shoe off, however, there was no blister but just this feeling of intense irritation on my forefoot area.
Has anyone else experienced this? I have worn the last version of the 4% and had not such issues.
