She says her hamstring would not allow her to run fast enough to achieve her goals. She had no problem completing the race, but said her hammy was tight or something and wouldn't allow her to hit her paces.
Is this plausible?
She takes a shot of others who DNF when they get in this scenario. Says they are afraid of finishing with a poor time. No doubt this is true, but why say it? Makes her look petty.
Have you guys ever had an injury where you can run a full marathon, but somehow it acts like a governor not allowing you to go faster?
I generally like her schtick, and was disappointed by this. The article did nothing but attempt to make excuses.
