Certainly doesn't pass the sniff test, does it?

Cute.
Show me Abraham's Kiptum positive test.

No, that poster doesn't.

Very witty. Well done.

Or just watch the damn video, provided to you for free, which actually contains almost no commentary in any language. That's right, just uninterrupted, split-screen views of the athletes running, if you had bothered to watch the actual race.
UK athletics coach,
Let me quote another quote.
'It must suck to be you'.
You are awfully ignorant.
That said, I have to just give it to you for outing me.
I was born not very far from Chattahoochee National Forest in Georgia.
Any details on how many times this guy's been tested out of competition without prior notice? That's got to become part and parcel of the requirements for a performance to be record eligible. I spoke to a manager several weeks ago who's close to this athlete's situation, and he put Kiptum at #1 on his suspicious athlete's list - before today's performance. Mostly based on known associations he has in Kenya.

Y'all clearly haven't actually watched. Homeboy would have been nearly passed tf out on the ground if it weren't for the coaches/agents literally holding up his limp body for pictures. I admit you gotta be skeptical about doping but come up with something better than that before making accusations. Skip to 48:55 in this video to see how tired he was.

Finally, a voice of reason. You're wasting your time here, unfortunately.

I wouldn't be so cocky. You might just get what you ask for.
Projected:
57:51 - 2020
12% improvement from 1965.
Incredible indeed.
Only Americans come out with these bs sayings every 5 mins. Native Son is no Kenyan.
A world record holder is going to be good enough to have records of times going back more than 2 years.
It's irrelevant how well known he was if his performance were any good there would be a record on IAAF site. It's obvious he was running slowly and the reason for his sudden improvement is equally obvious.
Just seen his post saying where he came from and giving no answers to my other questions.

I told you I was born in the South. What more do you want?

Kiptum's tilastopaja.org profile is fascinating. He's 29 but doesn't show up until 2015 when he ran a 2:11:36 marathon for third in Rabat.
In 2016, he focused on the half, running 61:52 at Madrid and then 59:36 for 6th in Copenhagen. He also picked up an xc win in Kenya in October.
In 2017, it was a tale of two halves with the first part being mediocre and the 2nd spectacular. He started the year with a couple of xc wins in Kenya. Then he picked up a 2:15:23 marathon win in Lagos - that was in February. In April, he ran a 29:18 10k at altitude (5th place) before finishing 7th in 2:14:38 at the Dongying Marathon in China.
The 2nd half of the year was spectacular, however. He ran a 60:06 pb in the half in September in Portugal (Porto, winning) before running a 2:05:26 in Amsterdam (3rd).
This year, as he was getting ready for the Daegu marathon he ran a 63:48 half in Granlers Spain (7th place) before winning Daegu in 2:06:29 on April 1st. Since then, he'd run a 63:02 half (win in July), a 59:09 runnerup showing in Copenhagen on September 16th before most recently finishing second on October 13h in an xc race in Ndalata in 31:24. In that race two weeks ago, he got smoked by 32 seconds. But the guy who smoked him was Rhonex Kipruto - the 2018 world junior champ who has been on fire this year and run 26:46 on the road this year.

He has results from a couple of years ago. Do you think there are records dating 5 years back of every potentially amazing African athlete?
LOL There are too many of them. You wil have plenty of opportunities to be angry again in the future, Mr If It's Not White It's Not Legit.
This! They're butt hurt because they predicted and expected times to slow down with improved testing in Kenya but the exact opposite is happening. More people are taking up running with a seriousness never seen before and this saltiness from haters is the kind of stuff that gives me life. You ain't seen nothing yet, from Kenya. Kids like Rhonex are just the tip and it looks like I'll be living off the schadenfreude from LRC peanut gallery's pain for a long time.
So we have a report from WADA detailing that Kenya has a serious doping problem and we have yet another Kenyan setting another world record. Let's keep those compartments closed, shall we.
