I mean, I know it’s not a great steak house, but it’s kind of expensive. If I take a girl there, will she be impresssed?

Not sure about the stake since I don't eat meat, but they have excellent rye bread.

Do they serve banana bread, too? And would it be a nice place for a coffee date with Bekele?
Took the GF to the Outback on the Vegas strip and it was great, rea$onable for the quality of the steak.

Last I checked they do not have banana bread. But there coffee is very good. I would say it would be a excellent place to go to for a coffee date with the GOAT of distance running.
Don’t be a cheapass. Take her to Lone Star or Ponderosa.

How could a chain restaurant possibly be good?! It’s laughable.

Protein tends to do that.
Decent steak for a reasonable price. I don’t feel like spending $80 on one meal I will go to Outback over the good places.
She's going to figure out real quick you lack theology, geometry, taste and decency.
Tad's Steakhouse circa 1957
Advertised in the front window as the special steak dinner for $1.09,. That princely sum bought you a "cowboy steak" (a gnarly little sirloin), a baked potato or mashed potatoes, tossed salad with your choice of eight bottled dressings, and — perhaps best of all — a giant slice of "Texas toast," half of a demi-baguette that had been split longitudinally, griddle-toasted, and brushed with garlic-scented fat of uncertain provenance. He pokesd and prodded your steak on the flame-shooting grill as it cooked, flipping it deftly, while watching perhaps a dozen other people's steaks at the same time. Finally, he assembled your meal on a red tray, and sluiced everything with meat juices from a metal tub. He asked if you want sautéed onions, but you should have been forewarned that they cost additional.
Outback is consistently fair quality food at a not outrageous price. They do nothing great but nothing horribly. Typical review for a major chain eatery.
Better steak chains (at a higher price point if you're trying to impress a date) include Mortons and Ruth's Chris.
Good luck. Hope your date eats more meat than the steak dinner you're promising.
1st mistake, don’t try to buy your way in with an expensive dinner. Most women see through that as desperation, unless you’ve already been on a few dates. That’s been my experience, anyway. Spend too much, look like a chump.
