*Drink real pineapple juice to soothe your sore throat.
*Drink real cranberry juice. (It has quinic acid in it & may help fight the flu...if it's coming on too.)
*Increase your Vitamin C intake (from natural sources).
*Increase your water intake (to help flush your system).
*Get lots of rest. Extra extended sleeping (i.e. go to be early). Napping too.
*Wash your hands frequently (and keep they away from your face). Use hand sanitizer too.
*Do NOT do any workouts that may stress your body (and weaken your already lowered immune system). I do think you can do some easy running/shake-out runs.
Meanwhile, I am not against medicine either. Can some nighttime cold medicine help? Absolutely. Can you some throat lozengers help too? You bet.
