I’m looking for a soft, light weight trainer (7-9 oz), with about a 8-10 mm drop, and a good amount of flex. I’m in the Pegasus 35 right now but they feel a It too stiff/firm. Any suggestions?

Has anyone tried these?

Beacon?

I’ll look into it thanks! Any personal experience with it?
My wife wears them - she actually doesn't like them as much as the Saucony Freedoms despite the fact that they're way lighter.
They do have a pretty cool feeling of making you want to run faster (almost a rocker sensation).
You might look into the Freedom too - on paper it's heavy but it doesn't feel heavy on your foot.
Does anyone know of a New Balance shoe similar to the Nike Pegasus?
AND- a NB or Nike shoe similar to the Lunar Glide?
You can try the NB Vongo, although I think it’s firmer than the lunarglide.
Yeah the Freedom is pretty good! Only thing I don’t like is it feels a bit sloppy to me.
NB 1400
Love the 1400s. I don’t know if I would train everyday in them though.
If you're pretty light on your feet and don't need extra cushion or stability (or EE), Boston 7 (or Boston 6 on discount) is an exceptional trainer that can double as a half/mara shoe. More cushion would be the Supernova or Tempo.
I run in the nb880 , no beacon , nb1400 . After I wear out the beacon , I won’t buy another pair . I tried the saucony freedom , and they felt dead , no energy return.
The 880s are really stiff and heavy. Not really what I’m looking for. Thanks though.

Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
