I ask this seriously because I toil all day at work and around the house to care for everybody. My list of chores are endless. I'm always rushing around, after putting in a full day of work, to get the kids where they need to go and to get everyone fed. Nobody seems to think twice about leaving a heap of dirty dishes in the sink for me to wash. The laundry piles up exponentially and is always waiting to be washed, dried, folded and put away. Sometimes I get emotional and ask for help. He says I'm making a mountain out of a molehill and asks why I'm having a meltdown over the laundry. I tell him it's like the straw that broke the camel's back. I try to have a dialogue with him about it, but he just responds with anger and the silent treatment. He just doesn't understand.
