I am a hobby jogger but like to do my best. I have signed up for a multi-day, multi-event race and would like some ideas on how to approach training. It is in February and over 2 days. Day 1 is a 15k and then a 5k. Day 2 is a half then an 8k. I did this event this year and it went pretty well (I ran the half with a friend who died at about mile 8 but I stuck with her bc I am not an ass). I mostly just did a marathon training cycle but would split longer runs (18+) into 2 pieces to simulate the multiple starts to prepare for this event. Looking back I'm not sure if this is the best approach or if there is something I can do to improve this year. I am open to any coaching/advice.
Background: 28, F, been running for about 3 years, 21:30 5k PR, 3:35 marathon PR (marathon was very recent at TCM)
