Ran my first marathon about a week ago with disappointing results. Is it foolish to register for another marathon 4 weeks after that one? I think an illness is to blame for what happened in the first one (quick, unexpected fatigue), and I’m frustrated by it — this is sort of a last ditch effort to salvage the training. Maybe this is silly and I should just sign up for the half, which is the same day, and have fun with that and then gear up for another marathon down the road. Thoughts?
