Hey Letsrunners, I'm in my senior year of college and feeling really rundown. I'm a D3 female with only 2 years of collegiate running. This past summer, I ran double what I did the summer before (275ish miles vs 616). I'll try to briefly summarize the rest.
~competing well (top ten), course PRs each time despite illness or high heat/dew point (85+/73+) each race thus far
~workouts a lot better, indicate even faster paces for flat champs courses with good weather
~BUT mileage down from 50-55-->40ish b/c longer runs cut short by evening work/classes and weightlifting stopped as well due to inability to recover from lack of sleep and eating enough (4-5 hrs/night &
