Coming off an injury, 100% cleared to run. Coming off consistent 85 mpw prior to injury about 4 months ago. I am running 6 days a week with 2 days doubles, but mileage is still low (building back up). Also, for posterity, I am not fast. 1:28:00 HM, 39 min 10k, 18 min 5k, 5 min mile (old guys, 40+).
What do you guys think would be the most efficient way to get endurance back in the next 6 weeks? Just focus on long runs, spend time on my legs? Or split it up between quality runs and easy runs? Just curious what you guys here think would be an efficient way of getting cardio back.
Thanks in advance.
