I have always hated these types of posts but here I am making one.
In June I got injured. We thought it was IT Band syndrome but now believe it is Tendonitis. Anyway I have been cross training a lot and have set December 1st as the date when I will start running. I signed up for a 2 person relay race on March 2nd. I will be running a total of 26 miles over the course of 5 separate legs.
After 6 months off, and having 3 months to train, how hard do you think I’ll be able to run this race? How good of shape can I be in by race day? And can I train hard without re-injuring myself?
