So who is brave enough to take Parker up on his offer?

Disagree. He's asking the idiot armchair quarterback coaches of Letsrun to put their money where their mouth is.
So he is adding financial incentive for himself to fail? That Oregon education is really kicking in, right along with his inability to do simple math for race splits.
If anyone here is dumb enough to take him up on it they deserve to lose $15,000.
Parker closing in on sub 2:10 marathon. Stops just before finish line. Waits a little over a minute. Crosses line at 2:11.01.
LRC idiot pays $15,000.
Don't start running crazy at 2:05 pace. Project 1:06/1:05.xxx negative split. Cut the hair. Go to Berlin or Rotterdam case's NY course is too difficult, Chicago weather is unpredictable and Boston is not certified.
Or do another mid major marathon like Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Valencia, Fukuoka, Seoul, etc.
Parker is like a less-accomplished hybrid of Walmsley and Sheila Reid.
He would have to move to my neighborhood first of all. Second, he would have to negative-split everything he does from long runs to his dump in the morning. If he positive-splits ANYTHING, the $15K is mine.
Canova is about to have a nice payday.
Parker, I'll do it.
IF: You coach and pay me to break 20 in a 5K early next spring. If I do, I'll pay you $10,000. If I don't break 20, you pay me $10,000. Deal?
If this is the best Saucony can come up with for marketing or whatever, no wonder ...
I think this is a great idea. But if he goes out in 15:00 the first 5k, he should have to pay the coach no matter what.
Chicago wasn't Brad Hudson's fault :)
Seriously, maybe we should do this. Then everyone would have a sort of "blue collar" runner to root for.
But I want him going sub 2:10! Somehow when I ran too, I though about running 5 minute miles (2:11). Might as well go sub 2:10 if you're going to go that fast.
The only real incentive is not being able to post here again. I do not have the self-control to step away from this hell hole. This might be the motivation I need.
Get JK.
Train like usual, only don't run 5m pace at 9000 feet for 40.247K a month before the race.
Buzz head. Wear 4% shoes. Wear half tights. Wear a tighter singlet. Head to Fukuoka. Don't go out so hard.
Never being able to post on letsrun again would be worse than losing $15,000.
Can we give him epo

Reminds me, he needs to switch over to and run in kilometers not miles.
Wondering if he thought about this before Tweeting. Wouldn't he just stand a step before the finish line until the time cleared, and finish 2:11:01? Who would run as hard as they could, knowing they'd owe $15,000....

Someone who stands to make a lot more money than that if he does?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06

Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
