I ran my first marathon 2 years back with about 40 miles a week as my training and ran a 4:05. Now I'm thinking about trying to qualify for Boston just for fun I think it will be challenging but doable. My times are for 1 mile 4:45 and 5k 16:40 I've been hitting 75 miles each week and recently went up to 9000 ft elevation and did 16 miles all up hill (2500 ft total elevation gain on that run) and did it at a 7:07 average. So you think that if I continue training like this and with my times it's doable to break 3 hours on the marathon. Also the course I'm running is comletely flat which should help for PR's.
