Live in a shack. Chase 50 other people that are faster than you in workouts. Run on dusty dirt roads dodging cow pies and ruts. Simplify life. Run, eat, sleep, run. Drink water and eat ugali. Sit and think. Cook your own food and clean your own pot. Be humble.
Forget about trying to directly transfer Tri success to running success. Develop the inner fire, confidence and hunger to succeed as a runner.
