Colorado may have the top two male high school cross country runners in the country, and they're both juniors. Easton Allred, sitting out the CHSAA season due to a transfer rule, ran 24:59 at Metro State's cross country meet this morning at Washington Park. The field wasn't quite as strong as past years, but he made it look easy running away from everyone over the last half mile. He and Cole Sprout are going to have some great battles in the next two years. Allred will be running at NXR in Phoenix in November. Add Cruz Culpepper into the equation, and Colorado currently has what are arguably the top 3 juniors in the country.
