A bit shocked Parker Stinson is trying to hang at 15:00 pace.
14:52 at 5k is 2:05:27
15:00 pace is 2:06:35
top ten thru 5k in 14.54
thats 2.05.45 pace
Ya, I am struck by his upper body effort. Unless that's his normal stride???

This coverage is terrible. Who the hell wants to hear about spectators' plans for cheering on their friends?!?!?
You sound kind dumb.
Many people do. The 100 people following this on LetsRun do not represent "normal." :) Most people would be bored senseless just watching the lead back for two hours.
Farah is looking relaxed, like he is out for a Sunday job and just latched onto a bunch of guys doing a workout.
Kirui has the most disgusting looking arm motion. It seriously looks like he has an injury on his right side.
Men's leaders through 5k at 14:52, which is 2:05:28 pace. All the big guns up there.
Women's leaders at 16:47 (2:21:39 pace), lead group is 6. Chase pack is over a minute back at 17:59 (2:31:46 pace) -- Thweatt and Jorgensen both in that group.

Better than unkind dumb.
Jorgensen on 2:31 pace, running with thweatt and Pappas apparently
That's far too slow for Jorgensen surely?!
McFadden already 1:20 back after 30 minutes?
Is Geoffrey Kirui rocking a Nike kit but not the orange Vapor Flys? WTF?

ARe people stupid? If it's humid, don't go out on 2:05 pace if you are hoping to be a 2:10 guy.
https://twitter.com/letsrundotcom/status/1048915998701707265Dewp oint isn't quite as bad as forecast last night.
56 dew point. currently not that bad. what happens later in the race happens. conditions are good right now.

Thanks, no ridiculous "side coverage" ! And they have a permanent live timer too, what EVERY marathon should have (including Berlin), we're just missing a distance countdown now...
