Chumba falling off. He’s done.
What has wheel chair racing got to do with running? So much of the live coverage being disrupted by bull....interview with fat people etc lol
Teh Kirui and Kirui are working together to push the pace on this one. Must be the training with Kipchoge effect.

I'm going back and forth between the Chicago feed and Olympic Channel since my cable keeps going out.
Did they say on NBC Sports that Yuki was expected to go out with the 2:06 guys? That was never the case.

Go Smoove! He’s going to destroy pappas
How are the women's paces and projected times compared with the men? Are they following the schedule and staying with pacers?
Those G Kirui surges were very fast, but weird. Can't think sprinting like that helps the legs at 40k.

Also, don't respond by quoting THE ENTIRE 20-MESSAGE FIGHT.
But I responded so who the hell am I to talk? I should have taken your advice on Blinky Bill.
Wtf!
Show the damn race!
7 mins without showing the men racing!!
Why wouln't the Japanese run Berlin? If I wanted a million bucks, I'd run there. Weather isn't consistently good enough in Chicago.
Guys really slowed down between 20 and 25k. 15:29 5k for that segment.
Mile 10: 4:42 (48:16)
Mile 11: 4:42 (52:58) They’ve had the wind at their backs since from 7.5 to almost 13 miles
Mile 12: 4:47 (57:45)
20K: 59:48 (14:48)
Mile 13: 4:45 (1:02:30)
HALF: 1:03:02 (13 men within 4 secs of the lead) Farah at the very back of lead pack. Rupp and Kiruis right at the front. Farah had allowed a gap of 20 meters to form, but he makes a move during mile 14 to bridge the gap and is back with the leaders by 14 miles.
65:12 for Stinson, who is running with Kibet, Osman, Kiname, and Sambu.
Mile 14: 1:07:15 for pacers, 1:07:22 for main pack (4:52) They are letting the pacers get a bit of a gap.
Mile 15: 1:12:10 for pacers, 1:12:23 for main pack (5:01)
25K: 1:15:18 (15:30), 11 men in front pack Kirui pushing up front. Gets a five-meter gap.
Mile 16: 5:08 (1:17:28) Still one pacemaker up front, but this split is for the leaders, led by GKirui, who is closing down the pacer. Now passes the pacemaker during mile 17. Rupp, AKirui, Germew, Legese are right behind him. Now that they’ve caught the pacer, GKirui drops back to let the pacer do some work, Rupp and AKirui are up at the front level with the pacer.
Mile 17:
Mile 18: 1:26:30 Kirui making another move to string things out. Chumba has been dropped.

It will help if he is a minute ahead of everyone else.

If they did, they aren't smart. He's never broken like 2:11 in a fall marathon.
