Stanford
If you're asking about undergrad, it's pretty clear. Stanford by a country mile.
For grad school, it likely depends on the specific program.
Rankings are your friend (note: they don't tell the whole story).
Really? You have to even ask this question? Stanford is waaaaaaay above Oregon in academics and athletics.
If you have to ask this question than Oregon is the school for you.

You Mr. "Acaxemics," went to Duckville.
If your really that dumb, you're not going to either.

I think we can agree that Ducks are smarter than Trees.
UO doesn’t have a track.
Easy, Oregon. Next question?

Checkmate.
You want a good academic school?? Go to Alabama, top flight academics and top flight athletics! I'm not sure how their student athletes balance both so well!

Duck fans should embrace their academic inferiority and move to more fruitful ground.
E.g. We may be dumb, but at least we get laid. (Insert believable number for a distance runner, like 2x/year)
And then the Stanford guy who majored in something useless like Comp Lit will chime in with something he thinks is clever, like: "A duck! That's what I think of when I fart in the shower and the fart mixes with the hot, steaming water to create a rancid-smelling quack."
And so on.

I think the entire world knows Stanford is a smart persons university.
If a tree is flying through a window that means that it is no longer rooted to the ground. Severing it from its life support. Hence a free flying through glass is on its way to a slow painful death. The duck on the other hand either dies immediately or lives to fly another day.
Ipsofacto oregon has a better academic program than Stanford.
