I have been making a homemade electrolyte drink since water didn't seem to do the trick:
Tall glass of water
1/4 teaspoon of lite salt (sodium and potassium)
1/2 tablespoon of magnesium citrate (sold in glass bottle as laxative for higher dosages - I get the citrus one, it's mild)
tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
No sugar, no dye. It doesn't taste like kool aid, but it's refreshing.
