My BMI is a 21.6, but I honestly have some pretty tubby legs and they don’t look fast if you look at me. (Pics not included ??). What is a good BMI for a kid that does 5k xc, then 3200 in the spring and will go to 5k/steeple most likely in college. I’m not bad, I ran 16:08 last year, but I don’t look too fast and don’t feel too much like a runner since I’m heavy. I’m 6’1” and 164. My goal is to get to a 20 for the BMI which is around 150 pounds. I used to eat way more than I should and weighed around 170 even while doing around 50 MPW, but I’m down to 164 now just from limiting myself to a reasonable amount. Just here for advice on whether I’m being a clown or it’s a solid goal.
