Canova have special blocks that are workouts 2x a day
Ingebristens also: tempo and hills or track and hills
One has to consider if it's worth it though...
I think it's valid during certain phases of your training. Also it fits in well with the Hard Days Hard, Easy Days Easy philosophy.
