I've not seen such big names within the anti-doping community speak out publicly against WADA quite like this. The front page quotes on Letsrun the past few days make it clear something very bad is happening. I have a few questions:
1. What exactly IS going on?
2. If Russia is reinstated, do you seriously believe the anti-doping establishment should be trusted to decide the livelihood and reputation of men and women who have dedicated their entire lives to sport?
3. If you were/are a parent of a high school age national or international-level talent, would you try to steer them away from sport seeing things like this happening? It's looking more and more like a farce everyday, is it not?
4. Is sport any more or less corrupt than any other profession humans pursue?
I'm trying not to be cynical, but as a coach it sure feels like professional sport becomes more like professional wrestling (WWF, WWE, whatever they call it now) every day.
